For thousands of years, Taoist monks have been practising Qigong in the Wudang Mountains, China. Master Gu grew up in the Wudang mountains and has taught there for the past 20 years. The academy has a three year curriculum that will excite you no matter if you are a complete beginner or a long term practitioner.
The tuition for each form begins at one of the magnificent temples in the Wudang mountains. Master Gu explains the history of the form and demonstrates it for you. Then in the woodland training ground, he breaks down the practical tuition into easy to learn sections.
Master Gu is a joyful teacher. He shows how to have fun and not take yourself too seriously while also empowering you to take charge of your wellness.

Learn to bring Qi Gong into your everyday life
Master Gu teaches that Qi Gong is made up of two things: tranquility and movement. Movement does not just mean external body movements. It is also what is happening inside your body such as the movement of your breath and blood. This means that Qi Gong can be any activity where your mind is present with the movement of the body.
Taoist culture offers an abundance of ways to do Qi Gong: drinking tea, playing music, calligraphy, chess, walking in nature, Tai Chi and Qi Gong Forms. Even sitting meditation involves movement. The micro-adjustments of the muscles to keep you upright. The flow of the blood. The rise and fall of the breath.
So long as an activity involves movement (dong) and tranquility (jing) it can be called Qi Gong.
This is why as a student of the academy you can also learn Taoist philosophy, medicine, meditation, Chinese culture and Tai Chi. Master Gu helps you understand how you can integrate Qi Gong into your everyday life.
Morning Meridian Adjustment:

If you are just beginning Qi Gong, welcome! You are embarking on a nourishing journey.
Master Gu likes to say “a good start to the day is half of success”. That’s why each morning he starts with a meridian activation Qi Gong. A combination of stretching, meditation and hitting ‘acupoints’ on your body. This is a fantastic practice to integrate into your morning routine. It wakes up your body and calms the mind - helping you handle the day's challenges.
